Peter & Rose
Peter has been a farmer all his working life, infact right from the time he could pull on his wellies he followed his Father tending the livestock.
Along with his wife, Rose, they diversified into selling firewood around 1990.
Over the years the business has evolved and several additions to the timber theme have been added.
Peter’s interests apart from wood are his animals and doing building projects around the farm.
Rose enjoys sharing her love of the countryside and has been welcoming guests to Ladderstile Retreat since 2009, many whom return time and time again. She can often be found in her garden and along with Peter enjoys walking and exploring the local countryside and when they have the opportunity to travel further afield.
They both enjoy spending lots of time with their Daughter, Son-in-law and Grandchildren.
Philip
Philip bought Ladderstile in 1969. A farmer all his life he is still interested in the day to day activities on the farm. He enjoys the company of his many friends, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His interests are his garden, a good game of whist and the four farm hens.
