About our Lamb

  • The Lamb is traditionally reared and grazed on clover rich pasture bordering the River Dane.
  • High welfare and reduced food miles together with a delicious tasting product are our main priorities. Enjoy

 

  • The Lamb is is processed at a local butchers which is a maximum 20 minutes drive away from Ladderstile Farm.

 

  • The cuts of meat are all individually bagged and labelled ready for the freezer.

 

  • The meat is then placed in an attractive box with cool packs for your convinence.

Cutting Options

These options are based upon half a lamb, for a full lamb the quantites would be doubled.

Option A  One shoulder and leg joint left whole, breast boned and rolled, approx 15 chops, liver, kidney and heart if wished and bones for the stock pot

In the above option if you would like the shoulder joint boning out please let us know. 

Option B  Shoulder and leg joint halved, breast boned and rolled, approx 15 chops, liver, kidney, and heart if wished and bones for the stock pot

 

Option C  Shoulder diced, leg cut into shank joint and steaks, breast minced, approx 15 chops, liver kidney and heart if wished and bones for the stock pot.

Delivery and Collection

We have the lamb processed at the end of every month August-February. Because we do not have chilling facilities it is preferred that the lamb is collected and delivered with an allocated time slot, soon after it has returned from the butchers.

Price

Full Lamb:- £140 (minimum weight of 16kg)

Half Lamb:-£75(minimum weight of 8kg)
